Welcome to Hutsy! Hutsy is a service that helps users avoid overdraft fees, late charges, and credit hits by automatically covering bills when their balance is low. By using our service, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Service Description

Hutsy provides the following key features:

• Bill Coverage: Hutsy ensures bills are paid on time, preventing late fees and service disruptions.
• Automated Detection: Hutsy monitors upcoming bills and bank balances to identify when a user won't have enough funds to pay an upcoming bill.
• Subscription Tracking: Users can view and cancel unwanted subscriptions to free up cash.
• Automated Payments: Hutsy sends funds directly to bill providers.

How Hutsy Works

• Sign Up & Link Your Bank: Users securely link their bank account via Plaid to enable Hutsy to automatically detect recurring transactions, which can be categorized as Bills or Subscriptions.
• Bill Monitoring: Hutsy monitors upcoming bills and bank balances to identify when a user won't have enough funds to pay an upcoming bill.
• User Notification: The user receives a notification asking if they would like Hutsy to cover their upcoming bill.
• Bill Payment: If the user accepts the offer, Hutsy pays the bill directly to the service provider.
• Service Fee: Users pay a 5% service fee for each bill covered by Hutsy.
• Repayment: Hutsy automatically withdraws the covered amount plus the service fee from the user's account on their next payday.

Fees and Payments

• Subscription Fee: Users will be charged a monthly subscription fee of $9.99 for the Hutsy service.
• Service Fee: A 5% service fee will be applied each time Hutsy covers a user's bill.

User Responsibilities

• Users are responsible for ensuring their linked bank account has sufficient funds to repay Hutsy on their next payday.
• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when signing up for Hutsy.
• Users are responsible for monitoring their transactions and account activity.

Limitation of Liability
Hutsy is not liable for any overdraft fees, late charges, or credit hits incurred due to insufficient funds in the user's account, except as a direct result of errors caused by Hutsy.

Modification of Terms
Hutsy reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination
Hutsy may terminate or suspend a user's account at any time for violation of these terms of service. Users may cancel their subscription at any time.

Governing Law
These terms of service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware USA.
