Terms of Service

Welcome to Hutsy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hutsy mobile application and related services (“Hutsy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using Hutsy, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Hutsy. By using our services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Membership and Subscription Fee

Hutsy requires an annual membership fee of $120 USD, charged at the time of signup.

This subscription fee is non-refundable, even if you cancel your membership before the end of the subscription period.

Your membership will remain active for the full 12 months from the date of payment.

3. Services Provided
  • Bill & Subscription Management: Hutsy allows you to connect your bank account, view recurring bills and subscriptions, receive payment reminders, and request subscription cancellations.
  • Loan Marketplace: Hutsy partners with third-party lenders to provide access to personal loans, debt consolidation loans, and small-dollar cash advances. Loan approval, terms, and funding are determined by the lender, not Hutsy.
  • No Lending by Hutsy: Hutsy does not issue loans, set loan terms, or guarantee approval. We act as a platform to connect you with lending partners.
4. Loan Offers and Approvals

Loan offers are provided directly by third-party lenders.

Approval decisions, loan terms, and repayment obligations are determined solely by the lender.

Hutsy is not responsible for changes to loan terms, interest rates, or repayment schedules.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account or applying for a loan.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must not use Hutsy for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

6. Data Security

Hutsy uses bank-level encryption and third-party providers (such as Plaid) to securely connect your bank account. By using Hutsy, you consent to the sharing of your financial information with our service providers and lending partners as necessary to deliver services.

7. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your Hutsy membership at any time in the app settings.

Canceling your membership will stop future renewals, but your current annual fee is non-refundable.

Hutsy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Hutsy provides services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no guarantees about loan approvals, loan amounts, or financial outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hutsy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Hutsy after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
